Student Satisfaction at Southern Maine Community College
From Diane Vickrey,

At Southern Maine Community College, we want to strengthen the quality of the student experience. As part of our effort to listen to our students and determine their needs, we are conducting a campus-wide assessment of student satisfaction. The Noel-Levitz Student Satisfaction Inventory is a powerful tool to improve the quality of student life and learning. It measures student satisfaction and priorities, showing how satisfied students are as well as what issues are important to them. We want to get a clear picture of what we need to do now to improve student life, learning, and success.

We are asking all our students to take 20 minutes to complete this survey online. Your voice is important, so we encourage every student to participate. No individual responses will be singled out from these surveys; we are only interested in grouped data.

The survey will be available beginning in mid-February. As a way of thanking you for your participation, each person who completes the survey online will be entered into a drawing for a variety of gift cards, including Starbucks, i-Tunes, and more.

Your feedback is very important to us and will guide the choices we make as an institution over the next several years. We are committed to being student centered, and that begins by listening to you.

Please note that the survey invitation will be sent to your SMCC email account . Instructions for forwarding your SMCC email to your personal email account (so that you can receive this invitation and other important information from the College!) can be found on MySMCC (the portal).
